Google’s smart contact lens

As more consumers become comfortable and adorn themselves with wearables ranging from smart watches, fit bands, and glasses. Now we are getting closer to inserting ourselves with technology.
Google has announced yesterday that it is testing a contact lens that can be used by diabetics to test their glucose levels - with the hope of reducing the amount of pain they have to go through daily.

smart contact lens that’s built to measure glucose levels in tears using a tiny wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor that are embedded between two layers of soft contact lens material. We’re testing prototypes that can generate a reading once per second.
There are millions of people who can't wait for this product to be released.
