Viewers of "Mann v. Ford," the HBO documentary detailing an Upper Ringwood community’s battle against Ford Motor Co. and its toxic legacy, should be "outraged’’ and learn more about pollution in their own communities, one of the filmmakers said Tuesday in a live Web chat.
While many issues remain unresolved at the 500-acre Superfund site, the release of the film comes at a critical juncture in determining the final cleanup, which will affect generations to come, filmmaker Maro Chermayeff said the day after the film’s premiere.
